3 September 2003: Report on Monitoring of independent judiciary in Azerbaijan is available in Russian (click here to download) and in Azeri (download here).



13 August 2003: Annagi Gadjibeyli, president of ALA, participated as an expert in project "Commentary to the Election Code" of "Legal Enlightenment Society" which was held in June 2003.



13 August 2003: Special issue of the bulletin is dedicated to the project "Situation around NGO legislation" which was funded by Catholik Relief Services (CRS). Along with research of Azerbaijan Lawyers Association, the Bulletin also included research of Public Associations "Women Lawyers for legal reforms" and "World of Woman". The Bulletin was published in Azeri and English and was distributed free of charge among participating respondents, embassy of foreign counties, international organizations and others parties.
The fourth Bulletin is named "Fundamentalism: yesterday and today". The Bulletin is prepared on the basis of the materials from the seminar on "Political strategies: fight against fundamentalism" which was held on 30 May - 6 June 2003 in Gummersbakh, Germany by Frederic Nauman Fund. Annagi Gadjibeyli participated in that seminar.



May 18 2003: In May 2003 Annagi Gadjibeyli, president of ALA, published his book "Civil law accountability" and Gayib Bounyatov, ALA member, published the book "Advocacy in Azerbaijan".
